Welcome to the forum hows your weekend I just got back from Church and God has sent 2 new memebers to our new Forum. We believe the earlier members here are the adventurous and exciting person and these are the qualities we need to build anything these days.

Man did u get my attention! I have been an insomniac my entire life, in fact, i never slept in the Womb, Mom says, twin brother confirms it! 
I have tried soooo many things, I intend to study further your primer and find the one that works, Oh God, Just 8 solid hours!!!

Well hello John, hello Kat, good to be here and I hope that this forum can be a place where the best information can be found. I'll contribute what I can and so long as we avoid too many idiots joining, that's a possibility.
And of course a big 'high, folks' to my fellow members.
Sleeping tablets, eh?
Choice is something along the lines of: hypnotic benzos; 'z' drugs, which in my opinion are not worth the trouble or expense; barbiturates, getting difficult to find; certain antihistamines, in particular hydroxyzine and promethazine, the two which docs actually prescribe for sleep problems; Cloral hydrate & cloral betaine, brand Welldorm; and clomethiazole. Then there are things like methaqualone, only sold now to my certain knowledge in two countries, sorry, three. Canada, S.Africa and Belgium.
I would rate Seconal sodium and Tuinal capsules as by a mile the most effective, but no doctor will now prescribe them unless to one who is habituated to them already, ie no new scripts. There are some excellent benzo hypnotics too. Temazepam always comes to mind first, being effective and euphoric as well, you get a lovely while waiting for it to put you over. Trouble is, you fight it to extend the nice feeling, a situation which is exactly the same with triazolam, the famous Upjohn 17 250mcg Halcion, and brotizolam, brand Lendormin, same tiny strength but by God are they powerful! Nitrazepam does nothing for me, though Nipam brand I have used as a daytime anxiolytic in the absence of anything else to hand, and it works. A bit. Mogadon brand is bunk. Even the 10mg Nitrasun does little for me. Lormetazepam is expensive but excellent in 2mg dose. In the UK they withdrew 2mg tablets but Noctamid 2s can be found at IOPs. Midazolam 15mg tablets are one of my favourites for a fast drop-off and a good 6-8 hour sleep. As are 2mg flunitrazepam. If anyone finds Vulbegan brand, post the source FAST! The Roche 542 1mg, branded Rohypnol, Hipnosedon and Hypnodorm are OK, but when they cost 5.65 euros in Belgian pharms for 30 and some excellent 2mg generics only just over a euro more, no point in getting the 1mg, unless maybe you take one, or two, or three depending on your state. Chloral is old fashioned but very good, 414mg purple torpedoes. Clomethiazole is better known as a treatment for alcohol withdrawal, but three x 192mg capsules make for a great night's sleep. It IS licenced as an hypnotic, but mostly one or two caps for the elderly. Why so I never worked out. Heminevrin is the brand and it works great for me in threes.
Well, that's my quick guide to worthwhile sleepers. I'm sure I missed out an important one there but will post if and when my drug-addled memory cares to work a little better.
Warning. Dishnetguy tested the Upjohn 17s from MM and found them all very understrength, despite being the real Pfizer/Upjohn product. That should never happen, even though they've been through the extreme temperature changes in aircraft holds which can have a weakening effect on BZDs. If I recall, they were testing below 200mcg. Could have just been a bad batch, because I have spoken to two people who were happy and didn't think they were significantly weaker than they should be. Some Mexican pharmacies sell them but charge like 130 dollars a box, which is about three times what you should be paying.
I'll leave it there just now and if anyone agrees or disagrees then please add to this thread.
